Why devastated? has he given you any other reason to believe he is being unfaithful? Also i suppose it depends what name he uttered -if my OH moaned 'Nigella' in his sleep then I would presume he was having a fantasy dream about her probably making his dinner ;-) If it was a name that didn't sound familiar then I would probably most definitely ask him who 'name' was - often the truth is far less exciting than our imaginations x

Have you asked him who it is dotty? I dream about all sorts of odd people from my past who mean nothing to me. Hopefully I don't talk in my sleep though.

when you think of the strange things you dream of, it's not surprising that some strange words come out of your mouth on occasions. Could be someone who lived next door knew 30 years ago, someone he's seen on telly, or someone he's just made up, like a dream.

If it was something very specific like "I want you for my wife, Jenny McGillicuddy", then you might want to ask a few questions. Otherwise I wouldn't' bother.
