Has anyone been lucky enough to see the meteor showers yet tonight? Visible from midnight to dawn looking to the North East. Very cloudy here in Leicestershire so we are disappointed :(

Sadly no from midway between Edinburgh and Glasgow but I'll watch a while yet.

Isn't it frustrating! I guarantee whenever there is something unusual to see in the night sky like Northern Lights, comets, shooting stars or meteor showers, the sky is ALWAYS too cloudy - Grrrr!

Aww no, it went completely out of my head, was meant to be at a party and wanted to go out and watch them but felt so crap with a cold I ended up staying in and getting an early night.

Just remembered a bit ago seeing someone posting on Facebook about seeing shooting stars last night.
