Engine warning light coming on after LPG conversion

I have had my Ford Fiesta 1.4 Duratec converted to run on LPG. After about 50 miles the engine warning light came on. The garage that did the conversion said this might happen and if it did I had to drive, then stop and turn the engine off and back on then repeat for about 6 times over a few miles to reset the engine management system. So far it has not made a difference. The engine sounds fine and the petrol/gas change over seems to be happening ok but the warning light stays on. Any ideas anyone?
