In a zoo there are 5 elephants, 3 camels and 7 giraffes � how many leopards are there

Take the numerical position of the 1st letter of each animal:
A=1, B=2, C=3, etc.
but what does that have to do with anything? i dont get it!

Taking the singular of each animal-
Quantity of each animal=
(number of vowels) x6
- (number of consonants) x 2
-3
So:
ELEPHANT= (3x6) - (5x2) -3 =5
CAMEL= (2x6)- (3x2) -3 = 3
GIRAFFE= (3x6)- (4x2) -3=7

LEOPARD= (3x6)-(4x2) -3=7
I think rogermelley is right. I do overcomplicate things and miss the obvious sometimes
I think the answer is none.

The questions tells us what is in the zoo - elephants, camels and giraffes! So, no leopards.
