Hello , your maj . I'm fine tonight.
How's things with you ?

Thanks for PLAICE I'm sure you are right.

Any thoughts on the others ?
Monkfish (hermit angle)
Magic , johnalex !

Thanks
Ah, m'lady, I'm rapidly losing the will to live today...

I'll keep thinking about your "Flighty granny"... :-)
Sorry to hear that, sire......thanks for thinking about me...I'm not a granny , nor am I flighty, but I do make a mean cup of tea.
Lol :-)) See, better already! xx

(Strong enough to stand a spoon up in please & got any biccies?)
I see you like your tea like I do !
Chocolate biccies or plain?
I've got digestive or chocolate gingers.
Sorry for hi-jacking your thread, doogied, but you have had some answers ..
:-)
ladyalex I think flighty granny is knot
granny knot a knot is a bird
regards
Thanks, spitza
It's the best idea I've heard for weeks.
I've been worrying away at granny=nan, nanny, gran etc and flighty=silly etc, but as a knot is a bird, you've cracked it!
Isn't it great when a puzzle is solved .
Thanks again.
:-)))
Ooh, choccy ones, choccy ones!

Secretly admits that for choccy biccies, she could have me down on the floor begging like a dog...
That's plenty, your maj.
You don't have to do any of that stuff for me. Just solving my puzzles is enough for the tea and biscuits.
Apologies again to doogied. You must wonder what you've stumbled on to here.
:-)
Yes, sorry doogied!

(Gulp! Did I say that out loud?..)

M'lady, I'm smiling for the first time today - thank you! :-)) xx
Well, I'm glad I've made you smile ...:-)))
Got to go now, no doubt speak to you again tomorrow...or if not then certainly at the weekend when the crosswords are flying.
Night night , Sire.
(Curtsies deeply)
(Sorry! Lost my line - again...)

Good night m'ladyalex, sleep well!

(Bows in a courtly fashion)

Well, that's my visitors gone for tonight so am back on line to check my answers and am delighted to see I attract the nobility.!! Anyway thanks everybody for your answers. I'm a little puzzled by the answer ORFE , I know it will be right but I've Googled "ore" and can't see how it fits in for seaweed. maybe it's the time of night or maybe I'm just thick !!
Hi doogied - Chambers gives 'ore' as seaweed - also known as 'oreweed' & 'oarweed'...

That's me done for now - good night! :-)
