Just thought I would get in first, It's a wet start on the plain today but I think we are used to it by now, Who wants all of that hot sunny weather with gentle warm breezes blowing while white fluffy clowds float by overhead, who wants to hear those noisy Cuckoo's sounding off in the distance or the Swallow's and Swifts shrieking as they perform their ariel acrobatics on the wing, Who needs to see a fly fisherman on the riverbank trying to tease a trout while all about him the damselflies go about their busy mating ritual, who wants to see trees and hedgerows turning green again, wild and domestic plants and flowers starting to bloom attracting Bees to gather the pollen etc etc. So I say lets hold on to the grey skies and rain for as long as we can....................Lol
You sound as though you have been writing for the English Tourist Board all winter mate. Any relation to Robert Browning? If so, you have to wait for April, I think!
Never mind moony, your musings will become real in the not too distant future, I am sure. Ever the optimist, I am. I hope your shift finishes soon and that you don't get too wet going home. I shall end now my night shift and ascend the wooden hill, perchance to dream. See you next time pal. Night night ♥
