Is there anything good in the papers today?

Is it worth me walking to the newsagent? ...

... or should I just get another coffee and put the telly on?

How many pages about Egypt do you need?

None

I'm all Egypted out.
Every one of them has an 'impossible to complete' crossword, apparently ... hehe.
Question Author
Naz ... we all know that half the people on Q&P don't even bother trying.

And the other half are the people who give them all the answers ...

... Kayakamina, et al.
Rather die than advertise that The Indy beat me!
Question Author
seadogg ...

The Indy is positively fiendish compared with some of the puzzles for which people seek answers!

Look ... there he is, in the "Latest Posts" column ... Kayakamina helping everyone with their solutions.

3a. How a bunny jumps. H?P ... I've been trying for ages, googled and everyfink.
Question Author
I'm not sure about that one, Naz.

The clue "how ... jumps" suggests an answer in the present indicative tense ...

... like "HOPS" ...

... but it doesn't fit.

LOL

Sorry. Couldn't resist.

Naz, I've just noticed ...

Does your avatar sheep have a moustache ???
Well I have heard of a paper called the Sunday Sport, which is out today. Not sure what is in that publication. Would that be worth a look? Otherwise no, papers are all full of bad news.
jj thought you would have noticed by now, that sheep is wearing makeup. It is Naz's idea of a joke (on us of course).
It is a rather fetching ewe, if I may say so.
JJ, it's just where the hair on their lips wears off whilst eating close to the ground.
Back to basics- it's only a load of rubbish in the papers. and you can get what you want off the tv or your computer. I would opt for the telly and the coffee, which reminds me I have just made a cup of tea.
Aside from being cropped, that photo of Wooly is completely untouched.
Question Author
Now I'm sitting here wondering if Naz is winding me up about sheep wearing the hair off their lips on the ground.

Is that really what happens ???
Oh Naz- I thought you were a bit more devious than that! I must admit to being a bit disappointed.
I suppose in Brighton all the sheep have flourishing moustaches?
