The Referee's Assistant Sian Massey has also been withdrawn from tonight's League Two game between Crewe Alexandra and Bradford City.

Be interested to know what that other incident was...
It rather looks like BskyB were looking for a reason to dispense with AGs services (suing NOTW over the 'phone-gate scandal) and he's handed them one on a plate.........
An expensive gaffe by Andy Gray and having been with BskyB for about 20 years he must deeply regret his comments now. He had a well paid job which he has jeopardised by these foolish and inconsiderate remarks. Not sure what is going to happen to Richard Keys as yet though, but I should imagine he will be withdrawn from front line Football coverage.

On the Sky News page.

"The new evidence involved footage showing Gray asking a female co-presenter to tuck in his shirt."
asking a female to tuck in his shirt? Unless that was a typo, it doesn't sound entirely like a sacking offence.
i think it was probably said in a particularly lewd way jno.

anyway, the mans an ass.
oh, you think he was rolling his Rs when he said it?
probably dribbling. and drooling. and doing a wonkey wink.
Well, as the whole world has suddenly become so "right on" and liberal pc ...

... I hope sales of The Guardian will soar through the roof !
Hmmm sexism in Football, bit of a Gray area for me.

Sky News have said that Andy Burton (Who was touchline reporter during the Wolves v Liverpool game) has been supended from the game he was due to be at tonight too.
Am I the only person who thought that Andy Gray was a rubbish football commentator and should have been sacked years ago for being no good at his job?
that and Tory peers on the fiddle... where else to read about it, JJ.

Unfortunately it seems Murdoch papers did not devote a lot of space to Cameron losing his communications director, for some reason; so they're out.
Got the excuse I suspect they were looking for.He came across to me as a pompous pudding anyway and wont be missed by me anyhow.
Feel for the baptism of fire that Sian Massey has had though-her every move will be scrutinised now and she'll have worked bl00dy hard for this gig.
He asked a female reporter to tuck his mic into his trousers!!
Why did they not sack Kay Burley when she practically throttled another reporter? Double standards.
Oh no, it doesn't mean that Redknapp will be given more to do, does it?
Andy Gray gets the sack over some harmless sexist comments

Anton Du Beke keeps his job after calling his partner on Strictly Come Dancing a '***'

Something doesn't add up here
Mark my words, the perverse in our society, as in those who turned Raoul Moat into a hero, will soon have this unfortunate young woman portrayed as the villain in this matter. She has inadvertantly drawn masses of media to bear on her, and she'll need to be a very strong character to cope. I sincerely hope she does.
