The chap from russia who died after collapsing and then died,sitting in a heat of 110C,cant see it being for financial gain,so why?

Its the tougher than you thing...a woman is more likely to stay in a sauna too long to sweat off pounds... It usually seems to have been the men who want the temp cranked up higher, who raise the humidity and grab the top ledge... (not that I've been in that many mixed saunas...well not recently anyway...)
You'd think he'd give it up after dying the first time...

A chap from america ate 38 soft boiled eggs in 29 seconds and had a stroke,he recovered, and he competed again....
I`ve never figured out the use for saunas. Do they serve any purpose apart from making you sweat lots of fluid thus making you dehydrated. You then drink a few glasses of water to replace the lost fluids. What`s the point?

sauna's make me claustrophobic. I dont understand the attraction of them, I could feel invigorated after a shower
