moving lillies

I would like to move some madonna lillies. They have finished flowering, can I do it now. Thanks in advance

I did mine last week! I dug them, split them, passed some on and replanted the rest where I wanted them. I think as long as they've finished flowering they should be fine. I've done this with several types of lilies and had no problems.
Probably won't hurt to do as sumar suggests, however, all bulb based plants (tulips, daffodils, etc.) actually store energy for the next year in the time after blooming and before the leaves and stems dissapear after turning yellow. It'd be best if you waited 'til this fall...
I lift them with as much root as poss and replant in a bucket or a spare plot in the garden until they die-back.
