It wamentioned on the news the other day about the oldest women in Britain just having died 1 month before her 112 birthday. I just cant imagine what it must be like to be that age. Its nearly twice my age now. I dont think I would want to live that long, Ive enough ailments as it is. What others think about living that long ?

If I've got most of my mental faculties, and am not wracked with pain, yeah bring it on! But if I'm a demented diseased wreck, I'd rather bow out a little earlier.

if it's the same lady as I think it is T.O.H, she's my friends grandaughters Great Grandmother, did they say where she came from?
friend's daughter's grandmothers great grandmother. It'll take me all morning to figure that one out.

I don't think for one moment that I'll live to be anywhere near a hundred...my granddaughter wanted to know yesterday how old I was in dog years, lol....(392)

I think she was in Sunderland and had only been in a home for the past two years I think
on the 'other' side rinky..ha-ha

yes , she always went to the care home for each birthday, I think there are some generation type photos taken...
me heeds buttoned up the back with it rinks..lol
inherit what is the question? If you retire at 60 then have another 52 years go go you'd spend all your money
I think the care home would get that 4get for her 'keep'
