I know that Johnny Nash sung 'There are more questions than answers. Anyone
remember it? And yes there does seem to be a few questions that never get answered, but I'd say a lot more do get answered.
some people come on here to ask a question, get the answer they wanted, and go away again. Sounds pretty normal. Some may repeat the process a few times. The ones who have lots and lots of answers are usually those chatting rather than actually answering questions.
Normal :-)
If the site is being used for what it was first intended.
C'mon, spill.............name names.........

That's not very interesting, jno.........(No offence intended)

I was anticipating getting some juicy titbits......

I can't remember now jack, I don't mean the poster who may only post once or twice ummmm. The other day I noticed someone with like 250 question but only about 80 answers.
I know chokkie use to have more Q's than A's but i have just looked and that has now been reversed.
I post a thread to profer my opinion and to invite others.
I post a Q if I have exhausted all avenues.
Different strokes for different folks -I dont have time to stay and maintain a thread
Conclusion - not very good at quizzes
Chuck is an example of a user with more answers than questions:

cheers jno,

20 Q's 1 answer, don't you think that is ignorant ?
Chuck has been a great help to me and always tries to help others with their problems.

jno -thats a bit cheeky isnt it lol !!!!
Maybe these people are not regular users. Maybe they only dip in when they need an answer to something?!

I have been guilty of that before now. When I get sick of here sometimes, I leave for a bit and just dip in if I need to ask something.
Mick, there are actually two of them, alternating in asking for answers to the Telegraph's travel quiz each week. The other one is:

Surely you would say thanks for the answers though Greedy?
I wonder would they stop asking when they won the £300 suitcase?
Usually I do yes Mick. That's just good manners!
I agree.
There ought to be a correlation between 'questions' asked and then 'answered' thanks afterwards.
Obviously they must just ask really boring or pointless questions.....?
I think it's odd, because ...

If you ask a question, and get an answer ... you should say thank you (which counts as an "answer" from you).

So, your tally of questions should be at least as high as your tally of answers.
