There is a rumour that now the RC Church has asked for forgiveness the opening words in the confessional box are to be changed from " Forgive me Father for I have sinned ." to " I forgive you Father for you have sinned . "
Any truth in this rumour ?

All the goodf priests I know would go along with that - it's the ones who actually don't believe it to be true who are the problem.
