Hi peeps, just thought i would ask this! is the peacock/hen a native of G.B. dont get me wrong I love this country but to me the bird seems too colourful and exotic compaired with our other native animals

I thought they were Asian, are pheasants Asian aswell?

peacocks are African, I still think pheasants are asian . . .
yes by the sounds of wikipedia they are asian.
The peafowl commonly seen in GB is the Indian peafowl, named after its original habitat. There is also a green peacock (instead of the blue chest) that comes from the Indonesian islands.

There are a few feral peafowls in Britain but they are escapees and their progeny from aviaries and bird parks.
