I dont know why I even bothered taking the call-perhaps its because its the same call Centre who phone at the same time every day.Maybe now they'll take me off their list.

Im just glad I p!ssed them off instead of the other way round.
Technically I'm not rude or nasty, I just don't speak... ;0)
so what would you prefer vibes spend ages on your spiel to be told no or no before you get started?
i had a long call the other week from some american call centre trying to sell shares.

10 minutes in the woman had established i was spending £5-10k a month on shares and the poor woman was almost hyperventilating lol

It got to the point where she asked me for a password to attribute to my account so they would know it was me when they called back.

me - yes its teepee-ess
her - can you spell that
me - yes T.....P....S
her - oh as in the TPS phone thing
me- yes, Im on the list and i dont appreciate you calling me
her - well you should have said that at start and i wouldnt have wasted my time
me - well you seemed happy to waste my time, and at least you're getting paid for yours! Dontcall me again, goodbye.

Sorry didnt see you redcrx -that made me laugh !!
hmm and as i recall that didn;t turn out to well now did it

fecking unitards and glittering tap shoes indeed!
She wanted you to sing Color Me Badd songs at her??
the call Mr CRX had from an indian call centre offering a phone from 3 was hilarious.

It went on for about half an hour with the guy saying the phone wasnt free but was three. He got so irate and, as with many of these call centres, couldnt cut the call.

I am usually a thanks bu not thanks on the phone but the occasional few do get my back up. Business ones drive me mad when they call for the tenth time after being told at every other call to remove my number, i may be rather abrupt and rude at that point
Please don't take this the wrong way, you sensitive souls, cos I aint no racist yeah? But why are they all bloody Indians?
I just start asking them questions like "Are you happy in your job?" and "How much do they pay you to do this?"

Click.........dialing tone
er salla............'cos they're in India............
I always say I am a listed number how did you get this, they generally just hang up!

If not I hang up on them. One of the worst jobs in the world I think.
because its cheaper to run call centres in places like india and South Africa, salla.

Sadly though i do think it is slowly backfiring on many big companies. Even if you were interested in a product or service, sometimes the language barrier is too big a hurdle to bother with
