On the face of it a high percentage of Q&P section users who regularly provide answers, have now replaced their old standard images with smart new avatars.

Conversely, very few users asking questions have followed suit, so we see little sign of any activity on this front until we open individual threads.

What's the significance of this? Come on you questioners, surely you want to spruce yourselves up and join in!? :O)

Hi sarumite. I think cupid said earlier, that a lot of the questioners stumble across us using google or another search engine and they are new to us...As I was about 4-5 years ago. I was very timid and didn't want to rock the boat...so perhaps that's one of the reasons. I think the other reason is, that older people tend to stick with sites they know and are a little afraid of anything that asks for their details.

(ps How's Mum?)
good point, sarumite. Is yours a self-portrait? (kidding lol)

Hi mazie, I'm sure that's partly the reason for the difference, but I reckon there are probably also other reasons. (Mum battles on, 94 next month!)

writesbad, my avatar reflects my interest in rugby (it's a rugby rhino) .. afraid I'm not that chunky! ;O)
Has anyone else noticed lots of names they`ve never seen before too, or is that because I am seeing who is who more (if that makes sense) ?
What other reasons? or would you rather not say ;o)

Great, I'm glad she's still with us. Mines 85 now and still being a pain in the whatsit
sarumite - if that's the Leeds Rhinos, it's the best of the best.
mamyalynne - it's just that we don't all look like jellybabies anymore
Question Author
I'd rather not say mazie ... as it could be controversial ;O)

writesbad ... I'm actually a union fan, not league, I just liked the logo!
You know its no conundrum, Sarumite.

They're often too lazy to complete their crosswords/ quizzes on their own and are also too lazy to fully engage with the technology on sites such as this.

This will look terrible if my first post with my new avatar doesn't work!
WELL i'VE TRIED FOR AN AVATAR, BUT i'LL NOW SEE IF IT is working.
I figure I give as many answers as questions, but not sure what that proves!
nope!
Question Author
Well I can see your new image Goofy ;O)
oh!
I can't. do you see yours, or do you just have the AB skittles?
p.s. I like the boots!
Question Author
Yes, I can see mine ... but I think other people have also said they can't see their own avatars. Afraid I don't know the solution ... perhaps you should pose a separate question .. I reckon somebody will have the answer.
if you do ctrl and hold down the f5 key at the same time you should be able to see your new avatar.
Hi Guys, looking good.

Spare Ed
Changed my avatar.
thanks craft 1948 - now I know who I am.
Pity I lost my feet!
Hi everyone, the Avatars are great. It's good to see peoples imagination coming to the forefront in their choices. I wonder what seekeez will choose.
