Maire, you can post your reply (like this one) as a new question in your original thread, saves opening up a new one and everyone who asked will see it. We are uploading the pictures for the avatars either from internet or from our own photos on hard drives. Have you seen the thread about going to www.gravatar.com and registering so you can have one too?

Thanks boxtops for info. I'm afraid I found this site, some time ago, by accident and just play it by ear. I will try the gravatar website and see what is said. Thanks again
