Welcome to Title Builder Beta.

This small piece of kit is designed to make building your Quiz, Crossword or Puzzle question more effective. It should make finding your question easier for others and, the easier it is to find, the more likely someone is to answer it!

To build an easy to find question title simply select the paper and quiz, enter the quiz number if relevant and fill in the Publication Date. Once you’re happy click “Build Title” and the information should populate the Title field. Fill in the final required details of your question as you normally would, and click submit.

As this is a Beta we only have a limited number of papers and quizzes listed. If you think your favourite Quiz, Crossword or Puzzle should be listed here don’t hesitate to contact us.

Remember: You do not have to use the title builder - simply enter the title and question as you normally would and click submit!

can anyone update me please?. Many years ago when i worked in the west end of london i used to hear the newspaper vendors shouting out Star, News and Standard!. They were the evening papers in those days. Do they still exist? i.e. the papers and the vendors?. i now live well out of reach. and the question 32 could be evening star or morning star could it not? (usually its venus 7.4)

The Evening Standard still exists, but since October 2009 is handed out as a free paper.
The Evening News merged with the Evening Standard in 1980, although it reappeared for a few months in 1987.
The Star became defunct in 1960

thank you twix123, I said it was a long time ago, it was actually 1956 when I worked there and I bought all 3 papers each day to do crosswordss on the bus home.
