The gorgeous Sally Lindsay (I have had a soft spot for her since I saw her at a Manchester City match 2 or 3 years ago).

 

In 1980 she was a member of St Winifreds School Choir, the little darlings had a hit with "Grandma We Love You" which spent 2 weeks at No1 (27-12-80 + 03-01-81).

..how about Brian Hibbard (of the Flying Pickets) who had a Christmas no. 1 with Only You in 1983... he played Doug Murray in the Street fron 92-93...  sheesh how sad am I ? ..don't answer that!

i remember noddy holder being in an episode of the street a few years back - but then the question does say coronation street 'star'
