hi my partner beat me up a few weeks ago and was charged with abh and has been bailed to return
i recently withdraw my statement i know alot of people are gonna comment on my actions but i have my reasons for this so please bear with me thank you
anyway along the line social services did get involved where they had to come in to do a risk assessment etc when the report came through i realised how much the police had made up about the incident.
is this fair ???

The police don't just make things up,they will have gone on what you and your partner said at the time of the assault and any witness statements.
I just realised.....what has your question title got to do with what you asked about the police 'making things up'?
Yes...they have to take statements and if any of those statements are amended then the person who gave the statement has to sign and date any corrections.

What have the police got to gain by 'making things up' You're a small fish in a big pond in all reality.

I remember your other post....are you still estranged?
