Child tax credits....

I'm having a look to see if my friends qualify's. I've filled in all the relevant boxes about how much she and her husband earn and it's come up that they could qualify for £237.

Would that be a year/month/week?

the family element is paid to any family responsible for at least one child. the family element can be higher if a child is aged under one, up to a mximum of £545 per year

the child element is paid for each child or young person in the family. the child element may be higher if a child has a disability. up to a maximum of £2,235 per year.
