Amoretti biscuits?
Amoretti ?
Question Author
Thank you very much rogerr - can you explain why this is the answer? Many thanks for replying.
Hi, I don't know that it is the answer but I found a Moretti family (Italian) and I thought A for once.
The biscuits are called Amaretti
I checked on google and they can be spelled both ways.
Bourbons
OK Roger, I put this because we have a lot of them and the tins always say Amaretti on them, which means bitter. Amare is for bitter, Amore is love.

Thanks again rogerr for taking the time to explain, and also grasscarp. Having checked info. I think puzzled-phil might have cracked it - so thanks alot!
I think bourbons is right too--when I first checked, google said they were a French family so I thought it couldn't be right. Hey ho ;o))
Grasscarp--Your spelling is the most usual one.
