7d Ell (from Nowell) + is = Ellis = island
For Clue of the Week I have Touch (graze) Down (low land), not a great clue!
Otherwise not finished yet.
24a Knots = < stonk (World War II British slang for a massed artillery bombardment). Reef = < free.
