Sorry I left for work at 7 this morning and walked into the house about half an hour ago. I apologise for not writing the full clue (I thought I had) and only putting dots instead of letters. I was obviously just too tired when I posted last night , not my usual style. I do hope you will forgive me and not make any more adverse comments. It is one of the main reasons I post very rarely on this site, in spite of the fact that it is one of the best sites I have come across for help with crosswords.
