Good morning all and welcome to my second week as Queen Julia of the Links.
It has been a good week for us in the JimJools household. Our son has been short-listed for a permanent job with the BBC. He is contracting there at the moment, working on their new weather website. So we have our fingers crossed for him.
Love is certainly in the air! Not only is crofter off to the wedding of his niece, but we have also just heard that two of our friends' children have become engaged [though not to each other]. Both couples have been together for a few years. For the first couple, he proposed on the top of the London Eye and, for the second couple, he proposed whilst they were in Barcelona. It's a bit different from my day: Jim proposed to me on East Ham Station!

I�ve been trying to get back on to my diet regime, as I�d noticed that my clothes are getting snugger. We still have nine weeks before our holiday, so I thought more exercise and fewer calories would help. As it was raining, I got the Wii out and did some exercise on that. Then Jim decided he wanted to participate by shooting clay pigeons. I told him that I couldn�t see how that was exercise, but agreed to have a go anyway. I must admit that my aim wasn�t very good, but it was the first time I�d tried it. Jim said he thought a man with a white stick could have done better. Gee Thanks, Jim, for that vote of confidence. I think I�ll stick with the yoga.
As for the MM Links Game, I shall follow the rules relating the word length as introduced by crofter. Each of my chosen link words contains at least four letters and at most eight. Stray outside this range and you will be wasting one or more of your attempts! Each of my selected words may go in front of or after my challenge word. The competition will officially close at 7.00pm on Sunday evening when my selected words will be declared, and points awarded in the usual manner. My second set of words to be linked should appear below at 9.00am.
As for the MM Links Game, I shall follow the rules relating the word length as introduced by crofter. Each of my chosen link words contains at least four letters and at most eight. Stray outside this range and you will be wasting one or more of your attempts! Each of my selected words may go in front of or after my challenge word.
