Has anyone heard of a piece of music or song called The Bells of St Kilda? Soembody thinks they heard it in a grandfather clocks chimes some years ago. Can anyone confirm that this is the correct title and do you know where we could hear it? We have tried looking it up online with not much success so far. Many thanks for any help.

youtube?? xx
Couldn't have been The Bells of St Mary's, could it? There was a film of the same name in the 1930s starring Bing Crosby as a priest.
There are examples of it on YouTube.
I'm sure the Bells of St Kildas was mentioned on Smallville on Sunday gone......that was playing on a grandfather clock
Found it, its actually the Birks of St Kilda

find an instrumental version of "The bonnie banks o' Loch Lomond" or "Loch Lomond" because apparently that's what the song actually is.

It's a rare song that barely anyone knows, see the YouTube link below.

Below is a small group of people singing 'The bonnie banks o' Loch Lomond'.

apparently it was also in the film Highlander
the link above is no use, it shows Scotland fans singing the song ( sorry should've looked first)...I'd google Loch lomond if I were you.
