I looked at Shoreham's history briefly before answering, and although it opened and was called a commercial airport in 1911 it looks like it didnt start passenger flights until October 1932, and the question is asking for oldest passenger airport.

lovely to see a bit of light banter
its difficult in print poortony to know how to take things sometimes. I always assume it is lighthearted. After all we are all amateurs here. Once a poster asked if we all worked for answerbank. I loved that idea!
