Thank you Rodz - a couple of the letter numbers don't match, but there might be misprints on my question sheet.
Your help is appreciated.
Still struggling with far and wide.
Broad and Beam come to mind as they both appear in trees but can`t tie it up with anything else for the "far"

Thank you Rodz - yes this is a tricky one - I thought of Leylandii because they grow and grow, but I've also found an American tree called the wayfaring tree, so that might be a possibility, but I'm still pondering.
Appreciate your efforts.
Hi Jock13,
If you find the answer to this one can you post it, I am well intrigued.

Hi Rodz,
Yes I'll let you know, but this is a local hospital charity quiz and the results won't be out until July, so it will be a long time to wait!
By the way, I'm wondering if the 'doggie' one might be paw paw - another American tree.
Haven't handed in my answers yet - am still pondering.
Possibility isn`t it.
If I find anything else I will post it.
