Many thanks. Aperio
Chambers gives Jowari as "durra" which is Indian millet, a grass related to sugarcane.

Hi Sarumite

My problem was the intersecting down clue, which gave a U instead of an O. I then could not think of a four letter word meaning couple whose second letter was a U.

The first word of the intersecting clue was the first for letters of COUNt reversed which I stupidly wrote in as NOUC. I checked all clues but did not spot this mistake. Stupid!

Once again, Many thanks
Aperio
