1 - two grooves , one on each side.
2. 25
3. 8,3
gwinearman - please can I ask why you are asking questions from the Melksham Quiz without having the honesty to say so?

Why do you need to ask questions on 11 January for a quiz which has a closing date of 1 March?

Please don't come back with the age old answer that this is a Q&A site. There have been many posts recently with people bemoaning the fact that quizzes are spoilt with people asking for answers too early. Oh, and the "well don't look then" is also not the answer.

Surely the solution is to answer what you can and guess the rest or leave blank spaces - after all, you are helping the charity by purchasing the quiz, so what's the point in ruining it for everyone for what are hardly life-changing sums of prize money. What satisfaction can be gained by using someone else's answers?
Its the 'not naming the quiz' that gets me

or the fact that unless I am very very very wrong and I doubt it more will be asked from this same section at least lets be honest and ask all of them at once instead of keep asking a few at a time
