In 1846, this California-bound party had to hole up in the mountains during a cold one. Today at a party, you might hold up a cold one whose label reveals those mountains.

No it isn't coors. The mountains are the Sierra Mountains. I have been to every website that I can and cannot find any label AT ALL. I have been searching this question for 2 weeks now. It is driving me crazy!!! Any hints will be appreciated!!
Sierra Nevada Pale Ale?
pat the rat is correct, can find a picture of the label on thier web sit.
coors.  the labels have changed over the years, quite a few times.  part of the slogan was/is  'tap the rockies'  and the beer is made from rocky mountain spring water.
PatTheRat is right, I looked up his info after I seen it here.  I thought coors because I knew their slogan, knew the rockies were on the bottles/cans, and didn't think about any other mountain range besides the rockies.  I guess I jumped the gun.
curious is it sierra mist?
