It is answered somewhere on here as: Blondel was a legendary minstrel, take out the forgotten n, sounds like mistral, which is a wind
I believe Blondel was a MINSTREL
Forgot N = MISTREL
Sounds like MISTRAL (strong cold dry wind)
Blondel was Richard I's minstrel. When he was captured & imprisoned in Austria on his way back to England from the crusades, Blondel went round all the likely places of imprisonment singing songs that Richard I would recognise. When the song was answered Richard was found.

Mi n strel - with the N forgot !
