Did you know that a lamb is only a lamb until its 1st birthday. Then it becomes a hugget.

Hugget is the stage between being a lamb & being mutton.

Not a lot of people know that...
Or do they?

oh. Bogger!

That makes this only very slightly interesting post even less interesting then doesn't it?!

Are you sure hogget isn't between a piglet & a big fat pig?

Yes, it's a hogget. At the back of my mind I knew something was amiss

The Huggets were a fictious family on the radio many moons ago.

Now I am really showing my age and, oh Ethel was in it!!
Well, salla ... I didn't know it.

I could do with a shank too.

I just looked it up salla and it appears to apply to pigs too.
Question Author
I know a lot of pigs that like a good shank.
Some of them like to keep their hat on whilst indulging.
oh, Petula Clark was in that too, as a child. There were three or four films.
Only female lambs live to a 1st birthday as most young males are killed for the table.

with apologies to any policemen or women on the site...
I love you all really ;-)
i never you that you are a genius
All male lambs have an elastic band tied round their goolies so they drop off. Something to do with the flavour of the meat I think.
