17 = L in a F
10 = ML in the N of a R
13 = R on the B.S.
2= T.L.B
3 = T.T.D
6 = T in G.R
48 = C (SQ)
13 = The R.T. in C

Thanks everyone. No there is no musical theme. much appreciated.
The equations are called 'ditloids'.
These are now commonly referred to as ditloids (I think one newspaper came up with the term) but were/are known as Language Equations- if you do a google search on Language Equations you'll find lots of examples/solutions.
