Hi, having gone through a redundency appeal and being offered job back (due to company not following correct selection criteria)... It is now difficult to return to work (due to life being made unbearable by management)... where does that leave my friend? Can she take the appeal process further to gain compensation... any job is better than none at the moment, but friend been put in difficult position... any help, guidance much appreciated, thank you.

What does she want- compensation that is more than the redundancy? Compensation for what? Could try a constructive dismissal claim but will need a strong case
You can't have it both ways. The company didn't follow the correct process, so your friend has the job back again. You could most likely have asked for compensation instead of the job back, but its too late for that now.
Depending on what 'management' is doing to make life 'unbearable', her only option in terms of now extracting money is to resign and try and claim constructive dismissal - as Factor is suggesting.
But it is a high risk strategy. It depends what 'management' has been doing.
If your friend retained her job because the company followed the wrong procedure then they will just start the procedure again and get it right this time. I agree with builders mate that to claim constructive dismissal is a high risk strategy, I see very few successful claims.
