I've been tearing my hair out since reading Tearinghairs post - and still haven't solved it !!!!!!

Stick at it x-ray.As tearinghair said "think botanical" for onion
and colour. You'll get there in the end
Yes. I'm still here! It was the clue from a couple of days ago that helped me with it, and I can't remember now who it was, but thanks very much if you're out there.
I have an answer for all of them but am not happy with Cheese crust - the answer I have seems more geographical than 'earth'.
so chuffed to get the answer as well ,thanks for clues tearing hair
My answer to 21 Cheeese crust is more "wind" than earth.
I have yet to get 22 Cheats game as well as No. 63 which I am still playing with.
Good luck
Cheese !!!!!
I'll start thinking wind then. As for 'cheats game', it's a fairly active game which was (and maybe still is) popular with children and at adults' slightly unusual parties..... I don't know this from personal experience, you understand!
I have a much better answer for 21 now, thanks x-ray. 22 also wind.
Thanks tearinghair - finally arrived at the answer to 22.
How did I not think of that before

Tearinghair.Am I right in thinking no26 starts with "con?"
That's what I've got.

Thank you Tearinghair you're a pal!!

Got it tearinghair.Good old Chambers.
Ive still not got no 63 either, thats after tearinghair kindly given me a few hints. Back to the books.
I am afraid I still cannot get this answer to No 63from the clues above. Would be grateful for another hint please if possible.
Hope you read this, tearinghair, as it's thanks from me too. I wouldn't have got no 63 without your 'botanical' clue.

For Mancunian and burdett, the 'onion' part of the answer has 6 letters and the 'light' part has 2 letters. Hope this helps.

Thank you juliefer for the further clue. I think I have the onion part but not the light. Will keep on trying.
