Welcome to Title Builder Beta.

This small piece of kit is designed to make building your Quiz, Crossword or Puzzle question more effective. It should make finding your question easier for others and, the easier it is to find, the more likely someone is to answer it!

To build an easy to find question title simply select the paper and quiz, enter the quiz number if relevant and fill in the Publication Date. Once you’re happy click “Build Title” and the information should populate the Title field. Fill in the final required details of your question as you normally would, and click submit.

As this is a Beta we only have a limited number of papers and quizzes listed. If you think your favourite Quiz, Crossword or Puzzle should be listed here don’t hesitate to contact us.

Remember: You do not have to use the title builder - simply enter the title and question as you normally would and click submit!

I think its worse that we were told on here it would be OK

I sympathise with you smouse, but the only way the quiz setters will take notice is if you and other sympathisers decline to enter their future quizzes as a protest.I know you are denying yourself the pleasure of entering, but then the setter is denying you the pleasure of winning.Surely everyone should have a fair chance of winning a prize, not just relying on pot luck. When quizzes are advertised on AB, perhaps they should also add, alternative answers allowed if proved to be correct. Hope this doesn't mean that you won't send me my missing answers anymore, just because I expressed my opinion!

I haven't got mine back yet so I don't know how its been marked,but it was me who raised the original question about would alternatives be accepted and was told yes.As poodledoo says I probably won't enter anymore Capel quizzes which is a shame for them and me!

I was going to stop doing capel before but then they started putting the number of letters and that helped

But this time they did say on here alternative but correct answers would be allowed and this hasnt happened
Calendar girl, Georgy Girl, Hey Little girl - my answers were all top ten hits

I dont even mind not winning - I do it all the time - lol - but I do like to get them right

i agree with smouse
i got a lot marked wrong and they were top ten hits . this also happened on the last quiz when there was more than one correct answer
myself , my mum and my aunty aren't having anymore quizzes from capel
