Agree with you pbeach but I can't think of any other with 8 letters. Also I think there was a clue from the same quiz about memory, again an 8 letter answer, with the answer as rosemary, a herb long associated with remembrance.

I cant make up my mind about number 3 one book says bluebell and the other hyacinth although I have used hyacinth(Hello first Mrs Lennon)
