Octavius so wrong it would be a miracle birth seeing that i am over fifty!!!
Hah! Its a fair cop.

But its never too late you know......!
puddi - Forgot tosay, I am now in a tricky situation where my 'baby' now 20 wants to have his girlfriend to stay overnight! Debates in the skyep household!
Question Author
skyep its difficult i know times have changed i hate to say, for me if its going to be a long term relationship would say yes, as long as they have enough understanding about contraception, if its a one night stand no way!!!! dont let your house and its rules be abused!!!
Better that than the bus shelter or in the park though, eh?
I would just hope that you have sound proof walls!
Skyep, you must have been young once!!!

Did you not sneak in your boyfriend??

I only let one of my son's girlfriend stay over. They were in a steady relationship at the time.

The other 2 have never tried (I think) or even asked!!!!
Hi puddi -
He's quite mature for his age. I know they're not one night stands, on the other hand I don't know how long his relationships last, never met any!
Awww, I had one of those moments when one of my team bought her 5 month old in and her sister bought her 5 week old in a few weeks ago.

Two beautiful beautiful little girls and I just melted.

Went upstairs at work today and the one in my team has one of the photo's I took of her and her baby on her deak, had a proper awwww moment :)

On the stop over thing, I've always respected my parents views about boyfriends and would have never dared ask bar a very serious relationship.

The only one who has ever slept in the same bed as me at my parents' place is my fella now who I live with.

My ex's parents had a separate beds before marriage rule and we never questioned it and always slept in separate rooms.

More difficult if they live at home though, I moved out at 18 and never went back to live so was only ever staying over.
Sound proof walls Octavius! O.M.G!
funny -Yes I have had boyfriends back to my parents house, none ever slept over though, unheard of! Still consider myself young Mrs lol! xxx
Third time over the last year the question has cropped up. Tempted to give it a try see what happens. Sorry puddi for going from your lovely thread to a few years down the line! lol xxx
Hi jenna! xxx

Lets get down to the nitty gritty here its because we dont like to think our offspring are having rumpy pumpy thoughts lol! after all they are still our babies so we are now back to the beginning of my thread!!!
Swap his bed for a really creaky one so they don't dare :)

That or get sweeky floorboards put in!
Very diplomatic puddi! ( probably right too! ) xxx
I'm getting worried because I now look at babies and think that I'd love to be a grandmother! No sign of that in the near future unfortunately.
Question Author
Am i the odd one out? i dont want to be a granny at this time, i find it sad when i hear grannies at 30+ that isnt meant to be they wear there badge with pride sadly!!!me i told my boys you can make me a gran when i am ninety lol!!!
Awwww - I'm big on babies smiles at the moment because my 7week old started smiling last week and is now smiling wildly at anything that keeps her attention - a window, the TV, a light fitting anything...... sadly (or not) they are not just reserved for me and her dad, she smiles at anything and anyone and it makes me want to squeeze her til she pops ;-D But before anyone calls social services, I don't actually squeeze her that tight ;-)

X

As for letting the gf stay over, I would limit it to weekends only / one night a week only.
