Still plenty of time I know but I would be grateful if someone out there would give me some hints for the what comes next section. M,C,D,M I thought that this might be roman numerals but cant make it fit! and the one driving the whole family absolutely potty is No. 15
1000,250,111.1,62.5. Is this a misprint? Should the third figure be 125? Thank you for any help

The arithmetical series is 1000 divided by 1 squared , 2 squared , 3 squared etc .
M,C,D,M - -this sounds like one we had a couple of weeks ago which was all to do with prefixes, Mega, Kilo, Hecto, Deci etc
Could it be Metre, Centimetre, Decimetre, Millimetre but what next?
That only works if it's M, D, C, M

I only ever have half 50% working, but you must have caught me on a functioning millisecond!
dundurn could it start with millimetre then upwards....?

yogasun you are correct, but it starts at millimetre and goes up, found it on google quite easily. Thank you. Now as you are all so good at these have you any hints for the others I need? P,TD,FH,CB

Well done fordward, but where I looked they spelt it with a k giving DK as the next letters
