i have a 3ply wooden fully interlocking jigsaw made by chad valley, small label on box 5/- no2196, 'refreshments' 250 pieces ( i have counted them and there are 250 pieces) , the pieces are mostly coloured grey and red and are strange shapes, there is no picture, i have looked in tom tyler's british jigsaw puzzles of the 20th century and haven't got any further with my search. Does anybody have any ideas, should i try to complete it but without a picture this will be difficult or should i just bin it? thanks

Well I suppose it's up to you. You could always try it and if you can't do it then bin it.
I do lots of jigsaws and try to make them more difficult by not looking at the picture too often. You just need patience and gradually the picture will build up. I think it would be a challenge to do one with no picture and with only 250 pieces shouldn't be too hard.
Don't bin a wooden jigsaw!

Give it to your local charity shop.
Someone would want it.

I'd have a go at it first, though.

Good luck!
I've just completed a pictureless jigsaw. It was good fun but it did take longer than usual.
