As a slight hayfever sufferer I am a great advocate of locally produced honey to build up resistance again pollen.

Just wonderring if anybody knows what geographical parametres "locally produced honey" actually encumbers.

How far does the bee fly from the commercial hive to feed?

Would they stop at the first available flower or seek out a safer environment or more productive species of flower?
