I haven't heard the commercial but Neil Diamond did a version of Rock Me Gently too...

Andy Kim sounded like Diamond but Diamond did not record it that I was aware of, and i was wroking in the industry when it came out, plus i have always bought Diamonds albums

That commercial doesn't sound like Neil Diamond but he definitely recorded a version
