these are the ones that I need 37, odds are crazier so!
no 47 keep hold at first! no 51 place initially on account.
no58 star the German put in! no63 old-fashioned to thrash around. no99brown breaks into Scottish group with initial deliberation. no106 unfinished palindromic title? thank you vety much for asking for the questions cheers Pat

99. I saw this answered as Cumberland - Scottish group = clan with umber (brown) inside + d (initial deliberation)
106. palindromic title = madam - there's a river in Vietnam called Ma Da

I have seen that answer, but on the sheet that can with the quiz are all the answers, and that is not on the list, and the list is not possible to put on here. sorry about that cheers Pat

sorry but that is not either that is what is the problem you can find answer but it is not on list making it very tricky if you have not got a copy of the quiz . Pat

that's a pity! I thought whoever came up with the answer Cumberland had done brilliantly... I'll have a think about them during the day. Oh just got one (hopefully) 47. Forth - keep = fort + h (hold at first).

thanks Forth is good,! yes if is a pity others are not no list both every good answers. it is harder with answers I think the quiz has 120 questions in all these are last few Pat
37 - i think there's a place spearhill wonder if ther's a place spearwell - ie, sp - ear - well :- odds + anagram of are + well (as in so ) just a guess
47 - could this poss' be 'bankhead'

phizzy sorry but can not see your answer on list, it is doing my head in now ,I hope some one can help, Clue of first letter and amount of letters would be a great help if anyone can help that way thanks Pat

some suggestions (in case you haven't already thought of them)
37. as phizzy says, might begin with sp, might end so/then/very - might contain the word madder
51. I think this will begin or end in p
58. "the" in German could be der, die or das. I think one of these words will be inside a word meaning star
63. might be anagram of old inside word meaning to thrash
99. may be a word meaning brown somewhere inside cland
106. all I can come up with is Po(p) but I would hardly say pop is a title...

cumberland is on the list - I am sure - sent mine off but thats what I put

sorry JMR27 as smouse has just pointed out Cumberland is on the list so answer is good , and thank you for that smouse did you find it tricky or is it me who is thick? Pat
very very very very tricky - did put an answer for everyone but know a lot will be wrong but it is good learning more about cryptic clues once you get it back and then fathom how they got it
