I don't think it's ground breaking news that you should be careful internet dating. I have been on two internet dates, both sort of arranged through myspace but I knew a friend of one of them and the other well, I had no idea and I suppose he could have been a serial killer but then I'm quite able to meet freakazoids in a pub. Rapists and murderers and people looking to date a single mum with kids to mess around with don't exactly advertise it no matter how they meet a person.

I expect date rape and drink spiking is probably a bigger concern.

Meet in public places just like you should look after your mates when you are out on the town.

Honestly, I would have concern for my children and who they were talking to online. I'm not trying to pick a fight LEg but you advertise your almost precise whereabouts and phone number on here regularly, and to me that is barking mad. It's thousands of strangers here and there have been cases of internet rage, who knows who you are winding up.
