It has taken me 7 attempts ed to get back on here!... If this posts..don't you realise you are going to loose some excellent contributors and Q&P is the best site! I know Kayakamina gave up on you today..and he is highly thought of on here.

As has been said...why nobody around at weekend..the site's busiest time??

I would suggest they use their equivalent of System Restore and go back to the system that was operating a couple of months ago. Moral - If it aint broke, don't fix it !

I have just managed to get on to see what is happening. Have been trying since 2pm this afternoon and all I get is the page asking me what my question is. Have the MM links been shown yet or is Crofter having the same problems as everyone else? Please someone tell me what's going on, I was out all day yesterday so has someone stormed the offices and made a takeover bid, or have all the people who have been banned recently taken the complete AB staff as hostages?

Surely if they can afford to wheel out all this new gubbins they can afford to have some technical bods on site at the weekends to sort out any problems ..in fact there should be somebody 24/7 and that includes moderators of some sort !
It seems to me as if they just down tools on Friday evenings and leave the place to fade and die .

After all ...it is the active members that keep the site running...for them to get sponsers etc..the amount of people 'registered' will help.

As Christiana says why are you improving the site?
It was perfectly okay in the good old days a few weeks or perhaps it was months ago.
Why do we need two ways of logging on to Q&A?
What's the point when neither system works and all I'm getting is blank pages?
Why are folks suspended and given no reason why?
Why are we all leaving in droves?
Perhaps you want to get rid of us and bring in new blood?
Believe me, it won't work. No one in their right mind would put up with this nonsense.
