THIS IS A HOAX

the virus is getting YOU to pass it on without the initiator having to write complex code.

Always Google a key phrase from emails like this before you pass them on. eg. "Life is beautiful, delete do not open or you will lose everything"
Or try " urban legends" in google, some sites there will tell you what are hoaxes and what aren't .

sorry for putting post up thought i was doing a favour I thought it was for real sorry to you all .cheersT
teddysbears..it was good of you to do that. A few have been caught out with it...and I think I would have been.
Thanks anyway for considering others.
teddysbears I was just stating facts, sorry if it came across sounding officious. Some of these hoaxes have been going around now for about 10 years because there are still people passing them on and some of us are getting a little wearied at receiving them over and over again. Unfortunately the spam filters don't seem to reject them. I appreciate you did it with good intentions but internet users have to develop a sixth sense and be suspicious of everything, especially if it arrives in an email or a popup.

Fortunately this one was harmless but make sure you don't fall for a phishing email or you could be out of pocket big time.

Hi Teddybears. There is a good site you can use that will tell you about viruses etc. currently doing the rounds and also about hoaxes that take pleasure in alarming people and cluttering up the internet with false virus messages. I've listed the hoax page below. From it you can also get to pages to check out the real viruses. Hope it helps.

Gen2 you seem to be on the ball regarding security matters, can you suggest any way of getting rid of pop ups from DriveClean and Spyhunter v 2.9 (enigma software group) I have McAfee but they dont have any effect on these pop ups
Adaware from http://www.lavasoft.com should shift those.
