Please help anyone, this one is spinning me round in circles,
An old fashioned way of saying a shape is not round or square ( perhaps ) Begins with a ( Y ).Thanks in advance.

I think the word is 'oblong'. I've heard it said.

It could also be 'oval', 'ovate', or 'ovoid'.
I shouldn' t think it is any of those if it's a cryptic clue for the towns and villages quiz and begins with Y ...Yeovil ....Y(oval)
Yea...I thought there was some information missing.....especially with that 'y' thrown in.

Thanks, Stewey,and Shaneystar2. You are gems as i could not see how oblong fitted when the answer began with a ( Y ). it,s a local quiz and to say that one was a stinker ( to me ) It means i can now cut down on the coffee pot. Thanks a bunch.
