Answer: SYCEE (CE in SYE), but the word that means Groom is SYCE. It seems Azed's eyes are giving him trouble again (remember ROOINEK/ROOIKAT?)

As you say, we had a similar error recently, where the setter had taken the definition from a word immediately adjacent to the one he actually wanted in Chambers...as has happened again today. A litle human frailty...so let's all just get SYCEE in there...it's obviously what's required!
