Manchester

Thanks - that was one of my options!
Sheffield is the answer
maybe ?
Metrolink - Manchester 's very own tram service, which was opened by Her Majesty the Queen on the 17 th July 1992.
I'm sticking with Sheffield after Googling around. Their trams were taken off in 1960 then re-introduced in 1992when the city centre was rebuilt for the World student games.
I couldn't find any distinct dates for manchester's trams being stopped. My 79yr old mum remembers them in Manchester when she was young right up to her moving to London after the war.
what about Nottingham? I dont now the date they re-established the trams but I think it was in the early 90's
Nottingham trams were brought back in 2004
Thanks crasher, I wasn't sure, but it just seems that they have been back for ages
